An attitude of gratitude can make all the difference in what you attract into your life as a runner. The Law of Attraction says that we tend to get more of that for which we regularly have thoughts and feelings of gratitude. You can apply the Law of Attraction to your running life by often considering every single person, place, thing, and experience for which you are in any way grateful. Even better: These thoughts and feelings of gratitude will tend to give you the habit of an attitude of gratitude in other areas of your life, and this habit will make other parts of your life more enjoyable and rewarding, too. As many wise people like to say, true wealth means fully appreciating everything that one has in one's life. So, if you wear compression tights during any or all of your runs, then consider these thoughts of gratitude related to them: -I am truly grateful that I could afford my compression tights. -I love the way that my tights hug my legs and make me feel more confident in my running. -I am thankful that athletes, biomechanics, kinesiologists, and fabric scientists collaborated to research and develop the compression tights that I now wear during my runs. -I am amazed at and grateful for the way that my tights are constructed such that there are panels that compress in all the right places and at all the right intensities. -I am thankful for the people and machines who sewed my compression tights so that they stay together and last for run after run. -I love the way that I can cold-water wash my tights -- and save money by not using hot water. -I am thankful for the way that my tights will air-dry in an hour or two. -I am truly grateful for the way that my tights wick perspiration away from my skin all over my hips and legs. -A feeling of gratitude comes over me when I take time to appreciate how my compression tights keep my legs warm on cold-morning runs. -I am grateful that I can keep my hip and leg muscles warm -- but not too warm! -- by wearing my tights on hot days. -I look forward to taking the time to carefully put on my compression tights before a long run. -I feel grateful after a long run when I peel off my tights and notice that my leg muscles are not sore.
The most powerful thoughts of gratitude are the most personal. Take this list as a starting point, and personalize it to your thoughts and feelings about your tights.
