This year will be the last year it is held in our back yard and we would like to send it off with a bang. Bathurst and Forster are hot favourites to be the future venue. MTC want to make the day our end of year party whilst at the same time encouraging as many members to race and volunteer. To this end one of our sponsors Kelly safety systems has Teamed with MTC to offer a discount on race entry. All members racing Club Champs will receive a $45 rebate on their entry. This means it will only cost you $40 all up. As you are a MTC Member you are urged to race and make the day special for all the club. None of us are under the illusion of winning but if we could podium in the country division it would be a great boost for the club. Entries opened a couple of weeks ago and the field is well over half filled. So you will need to act quickly to ensure your spot in the race. The day won't however be all about racing. MTC will be taking the tent and BBQ and all our members who are volunteers, racers or supporters will enjoy BBQ and refreshments throughout the day. Online Volunteer Registration
Maitland Tri Club has now made it easier for members and their families to register their interest in volunteering for Club Events. A web-page has been specifically designed to cater for interested Marshaling positions at our Club Races. However this form can be used to register your interest in any MTC club event. This form can be filled in at any time prior to the event and is an ideal way to get the job that you prefer. Remember all clubs survive on the contributions made by all of it’s members. MTC 2010 Ironman Fundraiser
As part of our club’s involvement in the 2010 Ironman Australia triathlon, we hope to raise $5000 in support of Ronald Mc Donald House in Newcastle. Sparke Helmore Triathlon
